(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 13-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Effective 1 January 2026, the Bouygues group has reorganised its construction activities by bringing together Colas, Bouygues Construction and Bouygues Immobilier under a newly established Construction Division, led by Pascal Minault. This strategic move brings the group’s historic construction businesses under a single divisional structure to strengthen coordination, unlock synergies and support long-term growth across markets.

The construction activities form a cornerstone of Bouygues’ identity and strategic direction. Together, these businesses generate more than €27 billion in annual revenue, employ approximately 100,000 people and operate across more than 50 countries worldwide. Through the creation of the Construction Division, Bouygues aims to enhance commercial collaboration, improve operational efficiency, deepen the sharing of expertise and knowledge, and create broader internal career and mobility opportunities for employees.

As part of this new organisation, Bouygues has introduced updated governance arrangements across its construction entities. At Bouygues Construction, the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer have been separated. Pascal Minault, who previously combined both positions, has been confirmed as Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Pierre-Éric Saint-André, formerly Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Bâtiment International, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction. In addition to his new role, Pierre-Éric Saint-André joins the Bouygues SA General Management Committee.

At Colas, Pascal Minault has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors, with Pierre Vanstoflegatte continuing in his role as Chief Executive Officer. At Bouygues Immobilier, Pascal Minault also remains Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Emmanuel Desmaizières is confirmed as Chief Executive Officer.

Commenting on the new structure, Pascal Minault highlighted the strength and positioning of the group’s construction businesses, noting that Colas and Bouygues Construction are among the global leaders in their respective fields, while Bouygues Immobilier is one of France’s leading property developers. According to the company’s press release, the primary ambition of the Construction Division is to support the growth of each business segment, while reinforcing their attractiveness and profitability by working more closely together and presenting a stronger collective offering to customers, partners and employees.

Pascal Minault brings more than 35 years of experience within the Bouygues group, having built a diverse career across the construction and property sectors in France and internationally. During his leadership of Bouygues Construction in recent years, the business delivered strong commercial momentum alongside solid operational and financial performance.

Olivier Roussat, Chief Executive Officer of the Bouygues group, said the new governance structure would enable the group to continue developing in an increasingly complex global environment. He emphasised that Bouygues will continue to rely on the diversity of its activities, its corporate culture and values, and the commitment of its workforce. He also congratulated Pascal Minault on his expanded responsibilities and expressed confidence in his ability to unite teams and accelerate synergies across the Construction Division, while extending his congratulations to Pierre-Éric Saint-André on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction.
