Stellantis Celebrates Global Education Achievements Through 2024 Student Awards Program

Participants were celebrated during an online ceremony for their creativity and innovation, which reflect the program’s focus on nurturing future leaders in mobility and technology. Since its inception in Italy in 1996, the program has recognized nearly 16,000 students with monetary awards.

This year’s participants were challenged to share their vision of future mobility through essays and designs, showcasing innovative thinking. Stellantis Chairman John Elkann and Xavier Chéreau, Head of Human Resources and Heritage, hosted the ceremony, emphasizing the program’s role in fostering the talents of the next generation.

“For nearly three decades, the Student Awards have celebrated the creativity and drive of young minds,” said Elkann. “This year’s submissions were inspiring, and we remain committed to supporting education and innovation, which are vital for a sustainable future.” Elkann also visited Stellantis locations in the U.S., Italy, and France during his first week as Chair of the Interim Executive Committee, underscoring the importance of employee engagement and global collaboration.

The program also included the prestigious Sergio Marchionne Award of Excellence, recognizing six regional winners who demonstrated outstanding passion and leadership. These recipients were offered the opportunity to interview for positions within Stellantis, aligning the program’s educational mission with career development opportunities.
