Pilot and Electriq Global announce collaboration to explore deployment of proprietary hydrogen transport, storage and power generation technology

Electriq’s patented solution is circular, in which the only consumables are energy and hydrogen

(IN BRIEF) Pilot Energy Limited and Electriq Global have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the use of Electriq’s innovative hydrogen powder transport, storage, and power generation technologies for off-grid energy needs in Western Australia’s Mid-West and Gascoyne regions. Electriq’s technologies, Electriq Powder and Electriq Release, allow for safe and efficient hydrogen storage and transport in ambient conditions. This collaboration aims to provide clean hydrogen from Pilot’s Mid-West Clean Energy Project to remote energy users, broadening the project’s domestic customer base. Both companies view this partnership as a step toward advancing Australia’s energy transition.

(PRESS RELEASE) TIRAT CARMEL, Israel, 6-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Pilot Energy Limited (‘Pilot’) and Electriq Global Limited (“Electriq”) have entered into an MoU to collaborate on exploring the deployment of Electriq Global’s proprietary hydrogen powder transport, storage and power generation technology for off-grid energy users in the Mid-West and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.

Electriq Global is spearheading the development of the next generation of solid hydrogen carriers with its pioneering technologies – Electriq Powder and Electriq Release. These proprietary technologies are redefining hydrogen storage, transportation, and delivery in ambient and non-pressurized conditions, and are set to make a significant impact on the energy landscape.

The objective under the MoU is for Pilot and Electriq to evaluate use of Electriq’s proprietary hydrogen transport, storage and delivery technologies – Electriq Powder and Electriq Release. Pilot and Electriq are targeting the application of Electriq Powder and Electriq Release to hydrogen transport, storage and power generation for remote, off-grid energy users in Mid West and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia, sourced from Pilot’s Mid-West Clean Energy Project.
