WeBuild Sustainability: Logicor France Unveils Paris Nord 2 Redevelopment with Premier Eco-Certification Goals

(IN BRIEF) Logicor France has launched a major redevelopment program for its Paris Nord 2 site, a light industrial facility spanning approximately 5,800 square meters. Located strategically 15 kilometers north of Paris and adjacent to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, the site benefits from direct access to major motorways (A1, A3, A104) and excellent public transport options via the Parc des Expositions station. The redevelopment aims for BREEAM Excellent certification by integrating energy-efficient technologies, including LED lighting, a sophisticated Building Management System, smart meters, and a rooftop photovoltaic system rated at about 500 kWp. The project also emphasizes user convenience and sustainability through the provision of 86 parking spaces (including facilities for reduced mobility), dual EV charging stations, and dedicated bicycle storage. A significant portion of the overall 13,110 square meter site will be landscaped to include nearly 2,200 square meters of green space. Laurent Dubos, Country Manager France at Logicor, highlighted that this investment forms a key aspect of the company’s broader transformation program aimed at upgrading asset sustainability and meeting evolving customer needs. The new facility is set to be delivered in early 2026 and will be flexible enough to accommodate one or two customers.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 10-Apr-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor France has officially initiated the comprehensive redevelopment of its Paris Nord 2 site, transforming the facility into a state-of-the-art light industrial hub destined to achieve BREEAM Excellent certification. Encompassing around 5,800 square meters, this modern property is strategically positioned just 15 kilometers north of Paris, in close proximity to the bustling Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. Its prime location offers superior connectivity with immediate access to key motorways including the A1, A3, and A104, as well as exceptional public transport options, notably the Parc des Expositions station (served by RER B and soon, the Grand Paris Express Line 17), easily reachable on foot or by bus.

Laurent Dubos, Country Manager France, commented, “This investment is a prime example of our dedication to enhancing our portfolio to align with our customers’ evolving requirements. It forms a vital part of our broader transformation program that is committed to elevating sustainability across our strategically located assets.”

The redevelopment is designed to adhere to the highest environmental benchmarks. The new facility will incorporate energy-efficient LED lighting, an advanced Building Management System (BMS), and smart meters to optimize energy consumption. Moreover, a photovoltaic solar panel system with a capacity of approximately 500 kWp will be installed on the roof to further promote sustainability.

The project will also feature 86 parking spaces, including accommodations for individuals with reduced mobility, dual charging stations for electric vehicles, and a dedicated bicycle storage area. The overall site, covering 13,110 square meters, is set to be beautifully landscaped, integrating nearly 2,200 square meters of green spaces. Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026, the newly redeveloped facility is designed to serve one or two customers.
