Sweco Secures Three-Year Framework Agreement with Statkraft to Support Norway’s Green Energy Transition

(IN BRIEF) Sweco has entered into a major framework agreement with Statkraft, Norway’s largest renewable energy producer, to provide consultancy services in areas such as hydropower, electrical power, and resilience to natural hazards. The three-year agreement, which begins in January 2025, strengthens Sweco’s long-term partnership with Statkraft, supporting Norway’s green energy transition by enhancing power production and energy security. Sweco will handle all six expert areas in the agreement, which includes an option for two one-year extensions.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 18-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Sweco has secured a significant new framework agreement with Statkraft, Norway’s state-owned renewable energy leader and Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy. The three-year contract will see Sweco providing expert consultancy services in a range of sectors, including construction and civil engineering, geoscience, hydropower, electrical power, and resilience to natural hazards.
