Skanska to Develop Major Residential Complex in Prague with CZK 1.1 Billion Contract

(IN BRIEF) Skanska has signed a contract worth CZK 1.1 billion (approximately SEK 510M) with Central Group to develop the next phase of the Tesla Hloubětín residential project in Prague, Czechia. The project will include four residential buildings with six to eleven floors, providing 357 new apartments. Additionally, a kindergarten, healthcare unit, and several commercial spaces will be built as part of this development. Construction is set to begin in October 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2027.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 1-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has finalized a contract with Central Group to construct a major residential project in Prague, Czechia, valued at CZK 1.1 billion (approximately SEK 510M). The contract will be included in Skanska’s Q3 2024 order bookings for Europe.

The project involves the next phase of the Tesla Hloubětín development and includes the construction of four residential buildings ranging from six to eleven stories, with a total of 357 new apartments. Additionally, the project will feature a kindergarten, a healthcare facility, and various commercial units, aiming to create a self-sustaining community.

Construction will commence in October 2024, with an anticipated completion date in 2027.
