(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 14-Jun-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska, the renowned development and construction group, has finalized a significant 12-year lease agreement with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for 4,925 square meters of prime office space at 1550 on the Green, located in Houston, Texas, USA. This lease marks a pivotal milestone as it fills 48 percent of the Class A+ office tower, strategically situated at 1550 Lamar Street near Discovery Green in downtown Houston. Boston Consulting Group plans to commence occupancy by the fourth quarter of 2025.

This development follows a previous lease agreement with international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, which committed to a 15-year lease for 32 percent of the office space and has already begun relocating since June 2024.

Skanska’s 1550 on the Green, which broke ground in June 2021 and achieved completion in February 2024, is designed to meet rigorous sustainability standards, including LEED Platinum V4, WELL Platinum, WiredScore Platinum, and Fitwel certifications. Spanning approximately 36,000 square meters, the building features state-of-the-art amenities such as a fitness center, rooftop conference facilities, ample parking, a premium restaurant, and a coffee shop.
