(PRESS RELEASE) ZURICH, 28-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Thomas Wellauer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIX Group, has announced that he will not seek re-election at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2026, marking the conclusion of his term as Chairman.

Wellauer, who took on the role in 2020 with a mandate to position SIX Group for future success, has led the company through a transformative period. Under his leadership, SIX implemented a new strategy focused on innovation and growth, achieving substantial improvements in operating profitability. Additionally, the management team was revitalized with a diverse and dynamic group, including the appointment of a new CEO with an international track record in capital markets leadership.
