(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 25-Nov-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Schroders, the global active asset management firm, has announced the appointment of Dan Morris as its new Head of Investment, a senior role designed to strengthen the firm’s innovation agenda and enhance the delivery of customised client solutions across Public Markets. The appointment reinforces Schroders’ commitment to expanding its capabilities at scale and advancing its position as a leader in tailored, technology-enabled investment offerings.

Dan Morris, who is returning to Schroders after holding several senior roles in the industry, will report directly to Johanna Kyrklund, Group Chief Investment Officer. He brings extensive expertise in quantitative investing, technology-driven investment solutions and the development of scalable platforms, most recently serving as Chief Investment Officer, Systematic Investments, at Allspring Global Investments. His background also includes leadership roles at Wells Fargo Asset Management and key responsibilities in establishing Allspring as an independent firm. Earlier in his career, he spent years at Schroders working in London on LDI Solutions and in New York on US Portfolio Solutions.

In his new position, Dan will integrate a wide range of Schroders’ strengths in active investment management—spanning strategic modelling, derivatives, asset allocation, sustainable investment and quantitative techniques. A critical component of his remit will be harnessing advanced technology, including AI, to scale the delivery of these capabilities and further embed them into Schroders’ operational and technology platform to support highly bespoke client mandates.

Schroders continues to experience strong momentum in its solutions-oriented business. The firm’s Equity Solutions team supported the €3.9 billion PGGM mandate, while the broader integrated Solutions team generated over £6 billion in net inflows during Q3 2025. With demand for customised portfolios accelerating globally, Dan’s appointment is positioned to build on this trajectory.

Welcoming the announcement, Johanna Kyrklund highlighted Dan’s expertise and the strategic value of his return. She noted that Dan’s deep quantitative background and client-centric approach will be instrumental in scaling Schroders’ Public Markets platform, strengthening investment performance and reinforcing the firm’s global leadership in active asset management.

Dan Morris expressed enthusiasm for rejoining Schroders, praising the firm’s reputation, talent base and commitment to innovation. He emphasized that returning to Schroders represents an opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued global growth and to expand the impact of its investment capabilities. He will officially rejoin the company on 5 January 2026.
