Saab and DSTA Expand Partnership to Advance Underwater Defense Technologies

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 20-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab and Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) have signed an expanded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen their collaboration in underwater technology innovation. The agreement, finalized on November 20 during the Sweden–Singapore Royal Business Forum, coincided with the first Swedish state visit to Singapore.

Building on a 2023 MoU that focused on supportability, people development, and smart technologies, this new agreement broadens the partnership to include joint studies on operational concepts and emerging underwater solutions. These efforts aim to enhance maritime security and resilience, addressing evolving challenges in the naval domain.
