Rezidor announces the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kayseri, Turkey

Brussels, 19-12-2012 — /europawire.eu/ — The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide and a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, announces the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kayseri in Turkey. The property featuring 240 rooms is scheduled to open in Q1 2014.

Kayseri is among Turkey’s ten largest cities with a population of 1 million inhabitants. It is an important economic hub, often referred to as one the “Anatolian tigers” due to continuous strong economic growth. The First Class and full service Radisson Blu hotel will enjoy a prime location in the city centre next to the newly developed Forum Kayseri shopping mall and the city’s financial district.

Kayseri has several industrial zones with companies specialising in machinery, food production, textiles, sugar refinery and cement production. The region also offers many cultural attractions, with Mount Erciyes being an important domestic recreational area. The local government is committed to further strengthen the economic and touristic development in the region and is pro-active in attracting new businesses and institutions. One of the recent additions includes a university for 30,000 students and 3,000 faculty members. The city further hosts about 20% of Turkey’s medical tourism and is in the process of launching a health campus project.

Located in a 20-story building with excellent visibility, the Radisson Blu hotel will feature 240 rooms with Radisson Blu signature services such as free high speed internet access, and 4 restaurant and bar outlets, including a rooftop restaurant & bar with spectacular views of Mount Erciyes.
