(PRESS RELEASE) MADRID, 21-Feb-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — In a renewed collaboration, Real Madrid ambassador Álvaro Arbeloa joined the mayor of San Fernando de Henares, Javier Corpa, and Jorge Guillén, director of Exolum’s Spanish and Aviation Business Unit, at the Real Madrid City Auditorium to celebrate the continuation of the Social Sports Football School initiative in the municipality of San Fernando de Henares, located in the Community of Madrid. The partnership aims to provide vital opportunities for local children, especially those at risk of social exclusion.

Since its inception in 2011, the project has offered scholarships to children between the ages of 5 and 17, ensuring that at least 50% of the spots are reserved for minors facing social challenges or exclusion. Thanks to the support from Exolum and the collaboration of the San Fernando de Henares Town Council, this initiative also provides both the necessary sports facilities and social services, allowing the football school to be inclusive of all children, including those with disabilities. These children train side by side with their peers in an environment that fosters equality.

Mayor Javier Corpa expressed his gratitude for the project, stating, “Since its launch, the partnership between San Fernando de Henares City Council, the Real Madrid Foundation, and Exolum has been instrumental in providing this valuable resource to our city.
