(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH, 15-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — The Nemetschek Group has unveiled its latest AI-driven innovations at BAU 2025, showcasing advancements designed to enhance creativity, innovation, and productivity in the AEC/O and media industries. At the forefront of these developments is the introduction of the AI Assistant, the Group’s first AI-agent-based technology, which has been integrated into ALLPLAN and Archicad by Graphisoft, marking a major step forward in the company’s AI strategy.

Presented at BAU 2025, the premier trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems, the AI Assistant is being rolled out within two of Nemetschek’s key brands—ALLPLAN and Graphisoft. This powerful tool is central to the Group’s effort to simplify workflows and promote collaboration by creating a unified, intelligent interface across its ecosystem.

Charles Sheridan, Chief AI & Data Officer at Nemetschek, described the AI Assistant as a transformative development. “By integrating a seamless, intelligent assistant across our ecosystem, we are combining state-of-the-art AI technology with our deep industry expertise. This enables our users to break new ground in workflow reimagination, while ensuring they can trust and rely on our solutions,” Sheridan said.

Julian Geiger, VP and Head of AI Product and Transformation at the Nemetschek Group, further emphasized that the AI Assistant builds upon the AI layer introduced in October 2024. “It is designed to deliver a cohesive, consistent experience across our brands, empowering users with smarter tools to boost creativity and productivity while maintaining a smooth transition between different software applications via a familiar interface.”

The integration of the AI Assistant into Archicad by Graphisoft introduces an embedded AI chatbot, providing users with access to product knowledge, industry insights, BIM model queries, and AI Visualizer integration—all via an intuitive chat interface. In ALLPLAN, the AI Assistant extends its capabilities with multi-touchpoint functionality, granting access to product knowledge, AECO industry insights, and advanced tools to address complex project needs.

Nemetschek’s unified approach to AI will see the AI Assistant expanded to other brands in 2025 and beyond, further empowering professionals in the AEC/O industry to innovate and streamline their workflows.
