(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 11-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — M&S Food has unveiled the latest chapter of its Farm to Foodhall campaign, featuring Rochester grower John Myatt and his daughters, Alex and Hannah, from J. Myatt & Co. The advert, now on air, celebrates the family’s 40-year relationship with M&S and their dedication to producing some of the finest British plums.

The campaign, which spans TV, online, in-store, and social media, sees chef Tom Kerridge visiting the Kent-based farm to discover how the Myatt family cultivates tree-ripened plums. With eleven varieties grown to extend the season, each fruit is left on the tree until it reaches its peak, then carefully handpicked when its colour and texture signal optimum ripeness. The result is plums bursting with natural sweetness, ready to be delivered fresh to M&S customers.

The Farm to Foodhall campaign is designed to spotlight the hard work of M&S farmers and suppliers nationwide, telling the stories behind products that make it onto shelves. J. Myatt & Co. also plays a role in M&S’s Plan A programme, which supports long-term sustainability in British farming by promoting biodiversity, soil health, and wildlife-friendly practices such as bird nesting and native planting.

John Myatt commented: “It was wonderful to welcome Tom Kerridge to our farm and share the effort that goes into producing the best possible plums for M&S customers. We are passionate about letting our fruit ripen naturally on the tree to deliver unbeatable flavour, and we’re proud that our plums are enjoyed by families across the country.”

Pablo Martinez, Senior Food Technologist at M&S, added: “Farm to Foodhall is about celebrating the people behind our products. John and his family are outstanding examples of the commitment, skill, and passion that drive our farming partnerships, and we’re delighted to showcase their story.”
