(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 29-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Leading European logistics property developer, Logicor, has completed its largest logistics development to date in the UK, featuring three advanced warehouses with a combined total of 800,000 sq ft. The strategically located Logicor Park Daventry is set to enhance the region’s logistics infrastructure, further cementing Logicor’s position as a major player in the sector.

Logicor Park Daventry boasts three high-quality warehouses, offering spaces of 385,000 sq ft, 280,000 sq ft, and 135,000 sq ft. Located in the highly sought-after “Golden Triangle” of the UK’s logistics hub, the park provides tenants with exceptional access to critical markets, making it a prime location for businesses seeking proximity to 51 million consumers within a three-hour radius. London, a key market, is also less than two hours away by road.

The location’s transport connectivity is unrivalled, with direct access to major motorways, including the M1, M40, and M45, while the Daventry town centre, just 1.5 miles away, offers further public transport links for logistics staff. This project is a key part of Logicor’s ambitious plans to deliver 1.8 million sq ft of new logistics facilities across the UK in 2025. The Daventry site is one of three major developments planned for completion this year, alongside Derby 507 and Bolt330, each tailored to meet the growing demand for high-quality logistics infrastructure.

Charlie Howard, Managing Director of Logicor UK, commented, “Logicor Park Daventry marks a significant milestone in our UK portfolio. With an increasing demand for prime logistics spaces, this development will play a crucial role in facilitating the flow of goods across the country, while creating job opportunities and supporting local economic growth.”

Designed with sustainability at its core, Logicor Park Daventry is EPC A and BREEAM Excellent rated. Each of the three warehouses is equipped with solar photovoltaic (PV) installations for renewable energy generation, EV chargers for electric vehicle use, and energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the facility. The site also prioritises environmental impact, incorporating 2.2 acres of peaceful woodland and planting 4,500 new trees to support local biodiversity.

The completion of the development will have a lasting impact on the local community, with an estimated 1,000 new jobs expected to be created. Additionally, the warehouses offer expanding businesses the capacity to remain within the Midlands region, providing them with flexible growth opportunities.

Logicor’s commitment to education and employability is also evident in its partnership with The Talent Foundry, through which the company has raised awareness of career opportunities in logistics real estate. The Reach education and employability programme, run in collaboration with local schools, has already seen increased student confidence in core skills and heightened interest in the logistics sector.

This state-of-the-art development reflects Logicor’s strategic vision of delivering high-quality logistics parks that facilitate the growth and sustainability of businesses across Europe.
