Hiab Strengthens Brazilian Market Position with Completion of ING Cranes Acquisition

The acquired business, which reported sales of around EUR 50 million in 2024, will be included in Hiab’s financial reporting from the first quarter of 2026. The transaction enables Hiab to offer a full spectrum of loader cranes from light to heavy duty, supporting customers across agriculture, construction, rental, and transportation sectors. (PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 5-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Hiab has completed the acquisition of ING Cranes, a Brazilian manufacturer of loader cranes, following the transaction announced in November 2025. The acquisition strengthens Hiab’s position in Brazil and expands its product offering in one of its key growth markets.

The newly acquired business will be consolidated into Hiab’s financial reporting starting from the first quarter of 2026. ING Cranes generated sales of approximately EUR 50 million in 2024. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

With the addition of ING Cranes, Hiab significantly broadens its loader crane portfolio in Brazil. The combined offering now spans light-, medium-, and heavy-duty loader cranes, enabling Hiab to serve a wider range of customer needs across agriculture, construction, transportation, and equipment rental segments. The acquisition reinforces Hiab’s ambition to be a preferred end-to-end solution provider in the Brazilian market.
