Crédit Agricole S.A. Welcomes Hubert Reynier as New Group Chief Compliance Officer

(IN BRIEF) Crédit Agricole S.A. has appointed Hubert Reynier as the Group Chief Compliance Officer, effective July 15th, 2024, following the retirement of Martine Boutinet. Reynier, who has been with Crédit Agricole since 2010, previously served as the Senior Country Officer for the United Kingdom at Crédit Agricole CIB. His extensive career includes roles at BNP, the Commission des Opérations de Bourse, the Autorité des marchés financiers, and Caisse des Dépôts. Reynier holds degrees from ENA, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris, Paris-Sorbonne University, and brings a wealth of experience to his new role on the Executive Committee.

(PRESS RELEASE) MONTROUGE, 16-Jul-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Crédit Agricole S.A. has appointed Hubert Reynier as the new Group Chief Compliance Officer, effective July 15th, 2024. Reynier joins the Executive Committee, succeeding Martine Boutinet who is retiring.

Before this appointment, Reynier served as the Senior Country Officer for the United Kingdom at Crédit Agricole CIB since September 2019. His career began as a finance inspector before joining BNP in 1992, where he held various international positions in New York, London, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In 2000, Reynier became Special Adviser to the Director General of the Commission des Opérations de Bourse, later leading the Premier Marché sector and the Financial Operations and Information Department. He then served as Deputy Secretary General of the Autorité des marchés financiers and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Caisse des Dépôts before joining Crédit Agricole Group in 2010. At Crédit Agricole, he held positions as Deputy Head and then Head of Risk and Permanent Controls.

Reynier is an alumnus of ENA, France’s national school of administration, and holds degrees from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris, a postgraduate degree in Economics, and a Master’s degree in Law from Paris-Sorbonne University.
