(IN BRIEF) On 1 August 2025, Commerzbank welcomes around 400 trainees and dual-study students across its German branches, meeting its recruitment goal for 2025. CHRO Sabine Mlnarsky highlighted the bank’s commitment to attracting and retaining young talent as essential for achieving growth targets and fulfilling social responsibilities. Commerzbank’s programmes span banking, IT, and office roles, with most recruits entering banking apprenticeships or dual finance degrees to strengthen the sales team and maintain service excellence. After virtual meet-and-greets, the newcomers will attend an orientation week in Frankfurt with CEO Bettina Orlopp and Sabine Mlnarsky. Outstanding participants are eligible for permanent roles post-training.

Ahead of their official start, participants connected via virtual networking events—an addition to the onboarding experience that received excellent feedback.

In early August, all new trainees and students will convene in Frankfurt for an introductory week hostby ed CEO Bettina Orlopp and CHRO Sabine Mlnarsky. This comprehensive orientation is designed to build confidence and enthusiasm as they launch their careers. Those who excel during training will be offered permanent positions upon completion.
