The new state-of-the-art facility, officially opened by Gunnar Kilian, Member of the Board of Management at Volkswagen AG, and Bentley’s leadership team, will play a critical role in preparing for the launch of Bentley’s first Battery-Powered Electric Vehicle (BEV), set to debut in 2026 as part of the brand’s Beyond100+ strategic plan.

Spanning 8,000 sqm over two floors, the Excellence Centre includes a proving ground for testing BEV assembly, a mini assembly line, and a technical centre dedicated to future materials testing, precision measurement, vehicle analysis, and reliability.
