Benedikt Dalkmann succeeds Jarek Gabor as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bertelsmann Education Group

(PRESS RELEASE) GÜTERSLOH, Germany, 3-Dec-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Bertelsmann Education Group welcomes Benedikt Dalkmann as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Benedikt was previously responsible for Corporate Development, Data Analytics, and Compliance for the Bertelsmann division. He succeeds Jarek Gabor, who has become Chief Operation Officer (COO) of the U.S. healthcare company Relias, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bertelsmann Education Group. The Bertelsmann Education Group, One of eight corporate divisions, unites Bertelsmann’s education businesses, making it the Group’s third pillar alongside its media and services businesses. Benedikt Dalkmann will continue to report to Kay Krafft, CEO of the Bertelsmann Education Group, as well as to Bertelsmann CFO Bernd Hirsch.

Benedikt Dalkmann studied Media Management in Siegen, Germany. He began his career in the Investment Management department at Holtzbrinck Digital. In 2012, Benedikt joined Bertelsmann’s Corporate Development department. Since 2014, he has worked on developing Bertelsmann’s education business with a focus on the U.S., most recently as Head of Strategy for the Bertelsmann Education Group founded in 2015.
