Airbus Becomes New Tenant at Logicor’s Renovated Logistics Hub in Colomiers

The site, originally built in 1982 and expanded in 2004, now offers 16,609 square meters of space. Logicor invested in infrastructure upgrades, including flooring refurbishment and technical system improvements, with the goal of achieving BREEAM In-Use certification for environmental sustainability. The site’s prime location near Toulouse and the airport, combined with its upgrades, attracted Airbus. The transaction was facilitated by BNP Paribas Real Estate and BG2V law firm.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 14-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, a prominent European owner, manager, and developer of logistics real estate, has announced the addition of Airbus as a new tenant in its French portfolio. This comes after significant renovation work at a logistics hub in Colomiers, acquired by Logicor earlier in January 2024.

The logistics facility, located at 5 Chemin de Garrabot in Colomiers, was previously owned by Logista before being acquired by Logicor. Built in 1982 and expanded in 2004 with an additional 4,000 square meters, the site now boasts a total area of 16,609 square meters, complete with approximately 50 parking spaces. The location, situated in a mixed-use neighborhood with excellent public transport connectivity, attracted Airbus, which chose to lease the entire site following the announced renovations.

Since March, Logicor has invested heavily in enhancing the infrastructure of the building. Renovation work has included the complete refurbishment of 10,000 square meters of flooring, upgrades to the technical systems such as the boiler, electrical systems, and sprinklers, and the addition of two new access ramps to improve vehicle flow. These upgrades are part of Logicor’s broader goal to achieve BREEAM In-Use environmental certification for the site, aligning with the company’s ongoing efforts to improve the sustainability of its real estate portfolio.

The site’s location is strategically positioned just 10 kilometers from Toulouse city center and a mere 10 minutes from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, with direct access to the A620 motorway, ensuring easy connections to major southern French cities and key economic hubs.

This transaction was facilitated with the assistance of BNP Paribas Real Estate, which supported both the acquisition and lease negotiations, and BG2V law firm, which handled the legal structuring of the contract with Airbus. In 2020, Logicor also acquired two other assets in Vitrolles and Saint-Raphaël from Logista.
