This agreement, spanning three years with the potential for a four-year extension, involves providing services across the entire life cycle of IT systems, from development to support. AFRY will deliver expertise in IT systems, testing, and information security as part of a long-term collaboration aimed at enhancing Sweden’s defense capabilities and digital infrastructure. The agreement, valued at SEK 1.5 billion for all suppliers, is set to begin in the second quarter of 2025.

The agreement covers a range of strategic services, including IT systems development, system testing, and IT and information security.

As one of four selected suppliers, AFRY will play a vital role in delivering long-term IT development and support for the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV. This agreement will support the entire life cycle of various IT systems used by these authorities, from their initial development through to ongoing operation and maintenance. The agreement spans three years, with the option for a four-year extension. The total value for all four suppliers is approximately SEK 1.5 billion over the course of the contract. The specific value of AFRY’s portion of the agreement has not been disclosed.

The agreement is set to begin in the second quarter of 2025, ensuring scalable and flexible support throughout the contract period.
