(PRESS RELEASE) OSLO, 1-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Diakonhjemmet Foundation has chosen AF Gruppen as the contractor for the ambitious Diakonhjemmet Campus project in Oslo, with a contract valued at approximately NOK 1.4 billion (excluding VAT). The project includes designing and constructing new facilities for a high school focused on health and social care, VID University College, and a shared basement area featuring a multi-purpose hall. Additional elements involve a platform for a new metro station, external infrastructure, and the demolition of the north wing of Diakonhjemmet 14.

The campus will cover around 26,000 square meters and aligns with high environmental and technical standards. Planning begins in January 2025, and construction is set for May 2025, with completion targeted for November 2028. The project’s final construction order awaits lease approval by the Oslo municipality and a required waiting period, ending on November 10, 2025.
