ABN AMRO Extends CEO Robert Swaak’s Tenure to 2028 in Show of Confidence

(IN BRIEF) ABN AMRO has extended the term of its CEO, Robert Swaak, by four years, until the 2028 General Meeting of Shareholders. Swaak, who has been CEO since April 2020, has accepted the request for the extension. The decision reflects the bank’s confidence in Swaak’s leadership and his successful efforts to shape the bank’s strategic direction.

(PRESS RELEASE) AMSTERDAM, 31-Oct-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — ABN AMRO has announced that its Supervisory Board has asked Robert Swaak to extend his current term of office as the CEO by four years, until the 2028 General Meeting of Shareholders. Robert Swaak has accepted their request.

Robert Swaak (1960) has been the CEO of ABN AMRO since 22 April 2020 CEO. His new term will commence at the close of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024.
