Metso Strengthens Partnership with Lloyds Metals Through Supply of High Performance Filtration Systems

(PRESS RELEASE) ESPOO, 13-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Metso has secured an order to supply advanced filtration systems to Lloyds Metals & Energy Limited as part of the expansion of its iron ore concentrate processing facilities in Maharashtra, India. The equipment will be deployed across the company’s sites in Ghugus, Manikgarh, and Konsari, supporting increased production capacity and operational efficiency.

The order, recorded in Metso’s Minerals segment for the first quarter of 2026, includes the delivery of ten fully automated Larox® FFP 3512 filters. These systems are designed to enhance dewatering performance in iron ore processing, contributing to improved concentrate quality and optimized plant operations.

Lloyds Metals & Energy operates integrated facilities covering iron ore mining, sponge iron production, and steel manufacturing, with a major industrial presence in the Chandrapur District. As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the company is upgrading multiple sites to strengthen its production capabilities and support growing demand.
