Metso and Dowa Host International Congress in Japan to Advance Recycling and Smelting Innovations

(IN BRIEF) Metso and Dowa Group’s Kosaka Smelting & Refining Co., Ltd. are hosting the 2nd International Ausmelt® TSL Licensees Congress in Japan, bringing together around 50 global industry professionals to discuss developments in recycling, the circular economy, and e-waste. Participants will tour the Kosaka Ausmelt® smelter, operational since 2007, and engage in discussions on innovations in smelting technology. The four-day event focuses on critical themes like recycling advancements, circular economy principles, and e-waste processing, drawing approximately 50 participants. Attendees will also have the chance to tour Dowa’s Kosaka Ausmelt® smelter in Akita prefecture, operational since 2007.
