(PRESS RELEASE) LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN, 5-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has unveiled its latest BharatBenz heavy-duty trucks, designed to meet the exacting demands of India’s booming construction and mining sectors.

The new BharatBenz HX series comprises two robust models—the 2828C HX and the 3532C HX—each offered in two powertrains (280 hp/1,100 Nm and 320 hp/1,250 Nm). Both variants feature Hill Hold Assist, unitized front-axle bearings for lower maintenance, aerodynamic wind deflectors, and an advanced driver-state monitoring system. With gradeability up to 60 percent (2828C HX) and 54 percent (3532C HX), plus the high-capacity IRT440-11 rear axle and optimized approach angles, these trucks deliver superior traction and ground clearance on the most challenging terrain.

Expanding the portfolio, the Torqshift series introduces the 2832CM and 3532CM models equipped with the proven G211-12 Powershift 3 automatic transmission. Additionally, DICV now offers the 2828C Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) variant: a 9 m³ mixer chassis powered by the OM 926 BS VI engine (280 hp/1,100 Nm), engineered for reliable concrete delivery in rugged environments.

All new models underwent rigorous field trials with over 150 trucks across India’s toughest construction and mining sites, demonstrating marked gains in uptime, operational efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
