(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH, 31-Aug-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — September 2024 marks a new chapter for MAN Truck & Bus as 511 apprentices and 27 dual students embark on their training at major German production sites in Munich, Nuremberg, Salzgitter, and service operations across Germany. This intake brings the total number of young professionals in training and dual study programs at MAN to approximately 1,500, highlighting the company’s commitment to developing the workforce of tomorrow.

Training at MAN by the Numbers:

  • Wittlich: 6 new trainees, 10 across all year groups
  • Nuremberg: 40 new trainees, 3 dual students; total 115 trainees, 4 dual students
  • Munich: 78 new trainees, 20 dual students; total 213 trainees, 56 dual students
  • Salzgitter: 37 new trainees, 4 dual students; total 99 trainees, 11 dual students

In total, around 350 new apprentices have started their training in August and September, raising the number of apprentices across Germany to 985.
