UniCredit Joins Venice Sustainability Foundation as Co-Founding Member

(PRESS RELEASE) VENICE, 21-Mar-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — UniCredit has  announced that it has become a co-founding member of the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità, or Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF).

The bank joins a broad range of institutions committed to making a concrete contribution towards building a sustainable future for Venice and its metropolitan surroundings, tackling a series of complex challenges that threaten the city’s very survival.

At UniCredit, ESG is a collective mindset embedded across the bank’s operations, with the aim of supporting its clients and communities in a just and fair transition.

As part of its membership, the bank will participate in several of the Foundation’s initiatives and projects, contributing its views and expertise to working groups focused on green hydrogen, energy and environmental transition, and social inclusion.
