(PRESS RELEASE) ABERDEEN, 11-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering, has been awarded a $50 million, two-year contract extension to continue delivering comprehensive maintenance services at Ampol’s Lytton refinery in Brisbane, Australia. This latest agreement strengthens Wood’s long-standing partnership with Ampol, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient production of fuel at one of the nation’s most strategically important refineries.

The extended scope of work covers maintenance management, multi-discipline technical services, and brownfield modification field support. As part of the agreement, Wood will also introduce its proprietary AI-driven maintenance platform, maintAI, to optimise operational strategies through advanced data analysis. Ralph Ellis, President of Asia Pacific, Operations at Wood, commented: “Our partnership with Ampol spans more than a decade, during which we’ve consistently delivered high-quality maintenance solutions that support the operational reliability of this nationally significant refinery. This contract extension reflects the expertise of our team and our commitment to advancing Ampol’s refinery performance through both proven practices and innovative digital technology.”
