Wood Secures $118 Million in Offshore Operations Contracts with Shell UK, Dana Petroleum, and CNOOC International
(IN BRIEF) Wood has secured contract extensions worth $118 million to continue its operations and maintenance services for Shell UK, Dana Petroleum, and CNOOC International’s UK offshore assets. This expansion reinforces Wood’s reputation as a trusted partner for North Sea energy infrastructure operations. The contracts will support offshore platforms such as Shearwater, Gannet, and Buzzard, ensuring continued production efficiency and safety. The work will be carried out by approximately 500 Wood employees in Aberdeen.
(PRESS RELEASE) ABERDEEN, 7-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering, has successfully secured a series of contract extensions worth $118 million to continue providing operations and maintenance services for Shell UK, Dana Petroleum, and CNOOC International’s UK operations.
The extensions will see Wood support a wide range of offshore assets, including Shell UK’s Shearwater, Gannet, Nelson, and Penguins platforms; CNOOC’s Golden Eagle, Buzzard, and Scott fields; and Dana Petroleum’s Triton and Western Isles Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units.
