This marks a three-point increase from the company’s 2023 score and positions Vodafone in the top 1% of the 130,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide, spanning 180 countries and 220 industries.

EcoVadis, a renowned independent organization, evaluates companies based on their performance in four critical areas: environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Vodafone’s enhanced score reflects its ongoing advancements in these domains, particularly its science-based initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and its commitment to sourcing renewable energy from diverse channels. The company also unveiled its Climate Transition Plan in May 2024, which has played a significant role in improving its sustainability rating.
