Vodafone partners with UEFA to sponsor Women’s Football until 2030 and launches Champions Travel eSIM for fans

The agreement covers major women’s competitions including the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO 2029, highlighting Vodafone’s investment in the fast-growing women’s game. Vodafone will also launch the Champions Travel eSIM, offering global data connectivity in 206 countries with added benefits for football fans. UEFA executives praised Vodafone’s global reach and innovation, noting the partnership’s role in expanding opportunities for women and bringing fans closer to the sport.

(PRESS RELEASE) BERKSHIRE, 15-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone has signed a major multi-year agreement with UEFA and UC3, becoming an official partner of UEFA Women’s Football and a licensee of the UEFA Champions League. The partnership, which runs until 2030, reinforces Vodafone’s commitment to both women’s and men’s European football, combining its global network expertise with UEFA’s ambition to grow the game at every level.

As part of the sponsorship, Vodafone will support a wide range of UEFA women’s tournaments including the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s EURO 2029, UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO 2027, UEFA Women’s Nations League, Women’s European Qualifiers, and the UEFA Women’s Under-19 and Under-17 Championships. This sponsorship reflects Vodafone’s investment in women’s sport, one of the fastest growing areas of global sport.

In addition, Vodafone has become an official licensee of the UEFA Champions League for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons. To coincide with the introduction of the league phase of the competition, Vodafone will launch the Champions Travel eSIM, designed to give away fans and international travellers seamless global connectivity. Offering unlimited data in 206 countries, hotspot functionality, flexible top-up options, and a dedicated support desk, the eSIM aims to remove travel connectivity concerns while enriching the fan experience. Customers will also have the chance to win match tickets through regular prize draws.
