(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 7-Dec-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has been awarded a $126 million contract by the Tennessee Department of General Services to renovate the historic Legislative Plaza in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The project, valued at approximately SEK 1.3 billion, will be included in Skanska’s US order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Modernizing a Landmark

The renovation will encompass a comprehensive overhaul of the Legislative Plaza, which was originally constructed in 1975.

The project includes:

• A full modernization of office spaces.
• Upgrades to the Motlow Tunnel and improvements to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Renovations to elevators and other key infrastructure.
