New EE Multi Tech Cover Responds to Growing Demand for All-in-One Gadget Insurance

(IN BRIEF) EE has launched Multi Tech Cover, a new monthly rolling insurance policy designed to protect an unlimited number of eligible devices under one plan. Created in partnership with Chubb, the policy offers two tiers covering accidental damage, extended warranty, worldwide protection, and optional loss and theft. Available for devices bought from EE or elsewhere, Multi Tech Cover reflects growing consumer demand for simpler, more comprehensive technology insurance and builds on EE’s existing Single Tech Cover with added flexibility and ease of use.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 13-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — EE has introduced a new insurance offering designed to simplify how customers protect the growing number of devices they rely on every day. The newly launched Multi Tech Cover provides flexible, manufacturer-approved protection for an unlimited number of eligible devices, whether purchased from EE or elsewhere, under a single rolling monthly policy.

The launch responds to clear consumer demand for simpler and more comprehensive cover. New research shows that nearly one in four people in the UK have had to replace a device in the past year due to damage, loss, or theft, while 64 percent say they would prefer one straightforward policy to cover most of their technology. With households increasingly relying on multiple connected devices, EE says Multi Tech Cover is designed to remove complexity and provide peace of mind.

Developed in partnership with insurer Chubb, EE Multi Tech Cover offers customers flexibility without long-term commitment. The policy is available on a monthly rolling basis and can be purchased instantly through the EE app or website. Customers can choose between two levels of cover depending on their needs. The Damage Cover option protects against accidental damage and includes extended warranty, worldwide cover, and manufacturer-approved repair or replacement, including in-box charging accessories. The Full Cover tier adds protection against loss and theft on top of these benefits.

The policy applies to a wide range of everyday technology, including phones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, headphones, e-readers, fitness trackers, and home security accessories such as video doorbells. Gaming consoles, controllers, and VR headsets are also included for damage-only claims. Importantly, devices do not need to be purchased from EE and can be new or manufacturer-refurbished. EE will also continue to provide breakdown cover for devices under five years old, even if the manufacturer warranty has already expired.

Multi Tech Cover is designed to be both comprehensive and easy to use. Customers do not need to pre-register their devices to make a claim, and claims can be submitted at any time via the My EE website or the EE App. Depending on the chosen tier, customers can make up to five claims within a 12-month period, with Full Cover allowing up to three claims for loss or theft.

The new policy builds on the success of EE’s existing Single Tech Cover, offering even greater flexibility by covering multiple devices under one plan. With clear pricing, simple claims management, and broad eligibility, EE positions Multi Tech Cover as one of the most inclusive device protection services currently available from a UK provider.
