Michelin Unveils New Fuel-Saving Tires and Connected Mobility Solutions at IAA Transportation Fair

These new tires are designed to maximize fuel savings and lateral grip for long-distance and regional journeys, offering savings of up to €2,200 per truck annually. Michelin also introduced its Connected Mobility services, aimed at reducing maintenance time and fuel consumption by up to 12%, reinforcing Michelin’s commitment to sustainable and efficient tire solutions.

These new products offer leading fuel efficiency and lateral grip for both long-distance and regional driving, without sacrificing performance metrics such as mileage, durability, and retreadability. The MICHELIN X® LINE ENERGY™ 3 delivers fuel savings up to €2,200 per truck annually, while the MICHELIN X® MULTI ENERGY™ 2 achieves savings up to €380 per truck per year.

Additionally, Michelin’s Connected Mobility services optimize tire performance by using fleet data to reduce maintenance time, vehicle downtime, and fuel consumption by up to 12%.
