(PRESS RELEASE) LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN, 22-Sept-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — At this year’s NUFAM – The Commercial Vehicle Show, Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ leading partners from Baden-Württemberg are joining forces to present an extensive range of vehicles, services, and solutions. At a 3,600 m² stand with an additional 400 m² outdoor display area, five major commercial vehicle centers — S&G Automobil AG, Kestenholz GmbH, Südstern-Bölle AG + Co. KG, Wackenhut GmbH & Co. KG, and TruckCenter Rems-Neckar GmbH & Co. KG — are showcasing the full Mercedes-Benz Trucks portfolio with a strong focus on alternative drive technologies and industry-tailored body solutions.

The display includes models spanning from the versatile Atego and the newly launched Actros L with ProCabin, to the Arocs SLT designed for heavy-duty transport up to 500 tons. Alongside conventional diesel-powered vehicles, the spotlight is on battery-electric trucks, with the eActros 600, eEconic, and FUSO eCanter on display. Complementary service offerings, such as charging infrastructure and rental options through Mercedes-Benz CharterWay, are also being highlighted. In addition, the long-established Kommunalmeile outdoor area features vehicles for municipal applications, including winter service, firefighting, and rescue models.

eActros 600 – Setting the benchmark in electric heavy-duty transport
The new eActros 600 represents a decisive step toward zero-emission long-haul logistics. Following its series production start at the Wörth plant in late 2024, the model has already been delivered to European customers. During the “eActros 600 European Testing Tour,” the electric flagship covered over 15,000 kilometers across 22 countries, including challenging winter routes, proving its capability under real-world conditions. With a battery capacity exceeding 600 kWh and a specially developed electric drive axle, the truck offers a range of 500 kilometers without recharging. Awarded International Truck of the Year 2025, the eActros 600 combines sustainable battery technology with advanced safety and assistance systems, including the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2, ensuring both economic efficiency and driver comfort.

Actros L with ProCabin – Comfort meets efficiency
The Actros L ProCabin, in production since December 2024, introduces aerodynamic enhancements that reduce fuel consumption by up to three percent compared with its predecessor. Paired with the latest OM 471 diesel engine, optimized drivetrain, and wider gear ratios, it delivers both improved fuel efficiency and smoother performance. The cab’s enhanced comfort and advanced safety features — including Active Brake Assist 6, Active Sideguard Assist 2, Front Guard Assist, and Active Drive Assist 3 — underscore its role as a leader in safety and efficiency.

eEconic – Zero-emission municipal operations
Built for urban services, the eEconic is a fully electric special truck already in series production at Wörth since 2022. With its low-noise, CO₂-free operation, the model supports sustainable municipal logistics, from waste collection to city transport. Its panoramic cab, multimedia cockpit, and integrated assistance systems enhance both driver comfort and safety in busy urban environments.

Unimog versatility
At the Unimog general agency Knoblauch stand, a variety of body manufacturers demonstrate the Unimog’s adaptability across industries. Highlights include a live demonstration of the Unimog that set the 2019 altitude world record and a special children’s driving course featuring mini Unimog models.

FUSO eCanter – Flexible light-duty electric transport
FUSO’s eCanter adds further breadth with a light-duty electric vehicle range from 4.25 to 8.55 tons. Available in 42 variants — six wheelbases, three battery options, and two cab types — it offers solutions for distribution, construction, and municipal applications. Depending on the battery pack, the eCanter achieves up to 200 kilometers of range and supports both AC and DC charging.

With its extensive presence at NUFAM, Mercedes-Benz Trucks and its partners are underscoring their role as pioneers in sustainable and industry-specific transport solutions, offering both diesel and electric models tailored to diverse customer needs.
