(PRESS RELEASE) ZURICH, 4-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Swiss Re (SWX: SREN), has announced the appointment of Nicole Pieterse as the company’s next Chief People Officer, effective 1 January 2026, succeeding Cathy Desquesses, who will step down for personal reasons. Pieterse, who currently serves as Head of Human Resources for Swiss Re’s Property & Casualty Reinsurance division (P&C Re), will join the Group Executive Committee as part of the transition.

Pieterse has been with Swiss Re since 2015, holding leadership roles across human resources functions and bringing extensive HR experience from earlier positions in the financial services sector. Her internal appointment reflects Swiss Re’s ongoing commitment to leadership development and continuity within the organisation.
