Key solutions include air logistics for general and perishable goods, cross‑docking, airport storage and delivery, sea freight (FCL and LCL) and customs management, with decarbonisation options available. (PRESS RELEASE) SCHINDELLEGI, 22-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Kuehne+Nagel  has marked a major milestone in Ecuador by opening a cutting‑edge logistics hub in Tababela, Quito—bringing its local operations and offices together under one roof to streamline processes and boost internal coordination. The new complex features 2,280 m² of temperature‑controlled warehousing, a 6,445 m² manoeuvring yard, 25 loading docks, and 795 m² of office space, creating a single, strategic base for teams and customers alike.

What began in Quito in 1995 with just five air‑logistics specialists has steadily expanded. Strategic acquisitions—Master Transport in 2013 and Panatlantic in 2018—cemented the company’s leadership in perishables, while broadening its end‑to‑end capabilities. Today, Kuehne+Nagel Ecuador is recognized as one of the country’s most versatile partners for international trade and supply chain solutions.

“With this step, we reaffirm our commitment to Ecuador’s broader industrial and trade growth, powered by the most advanced logistics solutions available,” said Diether Bohn, Managing Director for Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. “Bringing all of our Quito teams together will deepen synergies, speed up processes and elevate the experience for both customers and employees.”

In Ecuador, Kuehne+Nagel’s core offerings span general and perishable air logistics, cross‑docking, airport storage and last‑mile delivery, full‑container‑load (FCL) and less‑than‑container‑load (LCL) sea freight, plus customs management. The company also provides decarbonisation options across these services, supporting clients in meeting sustainability goals.

“Over three decades, we’ve moved thousands of tonnes of Ecuadorian goods to markets worldwide, and this move takes us to the next level,” added Mónica Jimenez, Country Manager, Ecuador. “This facility is not just an infrastructure upgrade—it embodies our vision to be the most trusted supply chain partner for a sustainable future.”
