This agreement builds on their existing collaboration in air logistics, which has supported ABB’s Chilean operations for over ten years with imports from Europe and the U.S.

Under the expanded mandate, Kuehne+Nagel will manage end-to-end logistics across ABB’s Electrification, Motion and Process Automation divisions. A newly instituted cross-docking service, coordinated with the air freight team, will streamline handoffs and reduce transit times. Operations are anchored at Kuehne+Nagel’s state-of-the-art Santiago distribution center—opened in 2024 and certified to AAA standards—where around 300 orders are dispatched each month to more than 120 clients nationwide.

A comprehensive waste-management program aims to cut landfill waste by 90%, with the ultimate ambition of zero-waste facilities.
