The app, developed in collaboration with mobility platform Reisbalans, is the first of its kind in the Netherlands to combine expense management with CO2 tracking and gamification.

The mobile app automatically logs travel movements and links them to a personal CO2 dashboard. Employees can track their environmental impact per trip and over longer periods, gaining insight into how their choices contribute to reducing carbon emissions. A playful element adds motivation: cyclists or train travelers are rewarded with positive emojis, while frequent use of petrol cars results in less cheerful feedback. The dashboard also enables colleagues to compare their travel behavior with one another, turning eco-conscious commuting into a shared challenge.
