Guy Henriques to become Country Head for the UK business of Schroders

LONDON, 26-Oct-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Schroders is today announcing the appointment of Guy Henriques as Country Head for the UK business, reporting to John Troiano, Global Head of Distribution. Guy will return from Japan, this month, where he has held the position of Country Head of Japan from 2012 to August 2016.

Prior to moving to Japan, Guy was Global Head of Official Institutions in London and then in Hong Kong, where he was also responsible for our Asia Pacific Institutional business. He joined Schroders in 2006. In addition to Guy taking responsibility for the UK Intermediary and Institutional channels, he will also lead our Latin America business across Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.

In addition Robin Stoakley, currently Managing Director UK Intermediary, will hand over the management of the UK Intermediary business to James Rainbow, Head of UK Financial Institutions and Strategic Accounts and Phil Middleton, Head of UK Intermediary Business Development who will become coheads. Both James and Phil will report to Guy Henriques. Robin will maintain a senior role within the firm overseeing our relationships with global financial clients and developing our growing South African presence. Robin will report directly to John Troiano, Global Head of Distribution.
