(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS / MILAN, 16-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — EssilorLuxottica and Dolce&Gabbana have agreed to extend their long-standing licensing partnership for eyewear products, confirming a new agreement that will run through 2050.

The renewed arrangement covers the design, manufacturing and global distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses bearing the Dolce&Gabbana brand. The extended timeline reflects the companies’ commitment to continuing their collaboration over the long term while building on more than two decades of joint work in the luxury eyewear segment.

The partnership between the two companies began in 2004 and has since developed into a significant collaboration combining fashion design with large-scale eyewear manufacturing and distribution. Under the renewed agreement, EssilorLuxottica will continue to oversee the development and production of Dolce&Gabbana eyewear collections while leveraging its global retail and distribution network to bring the products to markets worldwide.

Francesco Milleri said the extended agreement demonstrates the strong relationship between the two organizations and reflects a shared vision for the future of the partnership. He noted that Dolce&Gabbana represents a distinctive expression of creativity and cultural identity, and the new long-term arrangement allows the companies to deepen their collaboration through closer integration of their strategic goals, design philosophies and product development capabilities.

The agreement’s 25-year horizon also aligns with EssilorLuxottica’s broader partnership approach, which increasingly focuses on long-term collaborations with leading fashion brands to support innovation, brand development and sustainable growth over time.

Alfonso Dolce said the relationship between the two companies has combined creative vision with strong business results since the partnership began more than two decades ago. He added that extending the agreement underscores the confidence both companies share in the continued growth of their collaboration and the opportunities it creates for future product development.

According to Dolce, EssilorLuxottica’s expertise in eyewear manufacturing, combined with its global retail and distribution capabilities and ongoing investment in technological innovation, provides a strong foundation for expanding the Dolce&Gabbana eyewear offering worldwide.

By extending the licensing partnership through 2050, both companies aim to continue strengthening the presence of Dolce&Gabbana eyewear collections in international markets while combining fashion design with advanced eyewear technology and global distribution.
