(PRESS RELEASE) GUYANCOURT , 10-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Egis has announced key leadership appointments aimed at reinforcing its growth trajectory and market position across the Middle East and South Asia (MESA) region. These changes underscore the company’s commitment to delivering operational excellence while supporting national development goals and digital transformation initiatives throughout the region.

Gurminder Sagoo has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for MESA. In this capacity, he will lead all commercial operations and business development efforts, guiding strategic direction and revenue generation while maintaining a sharp focus on client satisfaction and brand integrity. With over 30 years of international experience in the built environment, Gurminder brings extensive expertise in overseeing market-facing activities across various geographies. During his tenure as Country Managing Director for the UAE and Oman over the past three years, he successfully led high-performing teams and implemented key initiatives across multiple business lines.

Markos Apostolides, previously serving as the region’s Chief Commercial Officer, has been appointed as Regional Director for Consulting & Operations. This business line serves as a strategic pillar for Egis, covering advisory services, aviation, and turnkey operations and maintenance projects. In his new role, Markos will spearhead client engagement on major regional contracts, enhance performance and governance frameworks, scale consulting capabilities, and lead the growth and integration of Egis’ Operations & Maintenance division. With more than 25 years of experience in operational leadership and commercial strategy, he is well-equipped to elevate this critical segment.

“These appointments signal Egis’ readiness to support our clients through the dynamic challenges posed by infrastructure growth and digital transformation,” said Frederico Justus, CEO of Egis for the Middle East & South Asia. “They also reflect our full alignment with the region’s long-term ambitions and strategic priorities.”

Egis is confident that these leadership transitions will not only drive business expansion but also strengthen client relationships and bolster the company’s ability to deliver sustainable, future-focused solutions across the MESA region.
