EBN, InBIA announce the inaugural programme of the West Coast Hub of ENRICH in the USA

BRUSSELS, 17-Jan-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — The European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) and the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA) are pleased to announce the inaugural programme of the West Coast Hub of ENRICH in the USA (European Network of Research and Innovation Centers and Hubs). This programme, hosted by the European American Enterprise Council (EAEC), is uniquely designed to help European researchers and innovators in the USA.

The three-day event, to be held in San Francisco from 22^nd to 24^thof January 2018, concludes with a networking reception on 24th of January from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Belgian Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco. 

ENRICH in the USA provides high-impact research and  innovation internationalisation support services to European researchers and innovators with a focus on accelerating access to the US market, and maximising collaboration and business growth opportunities. EBN, as a partner in ENRICH in the USA, plays a role in delivering the services to European researchers and innovators, while also supporting US-based entities interested in transatlantic research and business opportunities. ENRICH in the USA consists of a network of Landing Hubs throughout the USA that will accelerate collaborations with US researchers and innovation stakeholders and offer a service portfolio that meets critical unmet needs of European researchers and innovators seeking to grow and reinforce collaborations across the Atlantic.

In addition to the West Coast Hub, ENRICH in the USA’s East Coast Hub will soon be inaugurated in Boston and will be hosted by the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA).

Funded by the European Commission through Horizon 2020, ENRICH is a global network of centres and hubs focused on promoting the internationalisation of European science, technology and innovation (STI) in Brazil (ENRICH in Brazil), China (ENRICH in China), and the USA  (ENRICH in the USA).

EBN, along with EBN Member SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, is a partner in all three centres, as a way to support European entrepreneurs and innovators in their internationalisation efforts. Earlier last year, ENRICH in China was officially launched during the matchmaking tour in Chengdu, Beijing and Qingdao (24-31 October), while ENRICH in Brazil was launched on 29^th of November 2017 in Brasília.

The two ENRICH in the USA, in San Francisco and Boston, are the last ones to be inaugurated, while all three  international networks will be officially launched in Europe in April 2018. Stay tuned.
