Strong H1 2025 Growth with Revenues Surpassing €1.1 Billion

(NEWS) BUCHAREST, Romania, 14-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Digi Communications N.V., one of Europe’s leading telecommunications operators listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, has posted robust first-half results for 2025, driven by double-digit growth across its key markets, according to a press announcement made on EuropaWire this morning. The Group recorded consolidated revenues and other income of €1.113 billion for the six months to June 30, up 21% year-on-year, with Q2 revenues climbing 18% to €560 million.

Adjusted EBITDA for the first half rose 2% to €339 million, though Q2 EBITDA dipped 1% to €168 million due to investment costs linked to the company’s expansion in Portugal.

Operationally, Digi neared the milestone of 30 million revenue-generating units (RGUs), reaching 29.8 million by the end of Q2, a 17% increase from last year, with mobile services leading at 14.5 million RGUs, up 22% year-on-year.

Romania delivered healthy growth in mobile, broadband, and Pay-TV, Spain continued its strong double-digit rise, Italy expanded its mobile base, and Portugal—where commercial operations launched in late 2024—quickly grew to 789,000 RGUs. CEO Serghei Bulgac credited the results to customer trust and the company’s commitment to expanding its service portfolio across all markets.
