(IN BRIEF) The Nordex Group has sold more than 40 gigawatts of its Delta4000 platform turbines globally, representing 50% of its total sold fleet in just eight years since the series was introduced. The Delta4000 has become the foundation of Nordex’s turbine portfolio, combining adaptability, flexibility, and performance across diverse markets. The N175/6.X, one of the latest additions, has already reached close to 2,000 MW in sales across Europe, with a new 7.0 MW variant recently released. Nordex continues to expand its offerings with various hub heights and hybrid tower technologies, emphasizing optimized performance and reduced noise levels to support local requirements.

(PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, 15-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — The Nordex Group has reached a significant milestone with its Delta4000 platform: more than 40 gigawatts of Delta4000 turbines have now been sold worldwide. This figure represents half of the company’s entire sold fleet across its 40-year history — a feat achieved in just eight years since the series’ launch in September 2017 with the N149/4.X model.

Today, the Delta4000 series forms the backbone of Nordex’s turbine portfolio, known for its adaptability, high performance, and flexibility across a wide range of wind conditions. Its proven track record across global markets has established it as a cornerstone of the company’s offering.

One of the latest models in the family, the N175/6.X, has already secured nearly 2,000 MW in sales across Europe, with installations in countries such as Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Latvia. Designed with multiple operating modes, the turbine is now available in a newly released 7.0 MW variant. In Germany, Nordex offers the N175/6.X with hub heights of 112m, 162m, 179m, and 199m, supported by both proprietary and third-party hybrid tower technology.

The entire Delta4000 portfolio is engineered to deliver optimized sound, power, and load profiles tailored to site-specific conditions, ensuring maximum performance with minimal acoustic impact.

With this achievement, Nordex reinforces its leadership in the onshore wind sector and its commitment to advancing turbine technology that meets the evolving demands of space-constrained and grid-limited regions worldwide.
