(IN BRIEF) The CVC Foundation has awarded strategic grants to Resurgo Trust, AllChild, and Greenhouse Sports, reinforcing its commitment to community-led, scalable solutions in education and employability. Resurgo will grow its SPEAR programme for NEET youth, AllChild will expand its school-based Link Worker model supporting 1,700 children, and Greenhouse Sports will embed a Coach-Mentor in a Westminster school, benefiting 120 students. These investments aim to remove socio-economic barriers and cultivate long-term, measurable change, while engaging CVC colleagues in hands-on volunteering and mentorship roles.

(PRESS RELEASE) LUXEMBOURG, 8-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — The CVC Foundation today announced new multi-year grants to three UK charities—Resurgo Trust, AllChild, and Greenhouse Sports—furthering its ambitions in Education, Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Philanthropy. Each partnership is designed to scale community-driven models that dismantle socio-economic hurdles and foster sustainable opportunities for young people.

  • Resurgo Trust will expand its 12-month SPEAR employability programme for 16–24-year-olds not in education, employment, or training (NEET). To date, SPEAR has supported over 11,000 participants, with 75% securing education or employment within a year of graduation.
  • AllChild will enlarge its Impact Programme, embedding trained Link Workers in schools to deliver bespoke social, emotional, and academic support plans. Currently serving around 1,700 children annually in West London and Wigan, this initiative forges a seamless support network across families, schools, local organisations, and services.
  • Greenhouse Sports will place a full-time Coach-Mentor in a Westminster secondary school, using sport, mentoring, and enrichment activities to equip over 120 students with resilience and life skills.

Kate Butchart, Director of the CVC Foundation, commented, “By backing proven, scalable programmes, we’re creating genuine pathways to opportunity for young people nationwide. These partnerships also invite our colleagues to engage directly—through volunteering, mentoring, and more—to multiply our collective impact.”
