Bouygues Construction’s Losinger Marazzi to Deliver Major CHF 242 Million Redevelopment for Public Transport, Emergency and Administrative Services in Zug

(IN BRIEF) Bouygues Construction, through Losinger Marazzi, will deliver a CHF 242 million (€260 million) redevelopment in the canton of Zug, constructing new premises for the ZVB public transport authority, the RDZ emergency services and 250 workstations for the cantonal administration. The project will modernise the existing site by adding two new buildings covering 26,000 m², including a ZVB office facility with underground bus parking and a purpose-built RDZ centre designed to strengthen emergency response operations. Construction begins in 2026 and is scheduled for completion in 2030, with both buildings certified to the Minergie-P-ECO environmental standard. The project reflects Bouygues Construction’s strong expertise in mixed-use and logistics-integrated developments, supported by similar reference projects in Paris and ongoing urban regeneration work in Zug.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 13-Nov-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Bouygues Construction, through its Swiss subsidiary Losinger Marazzi, will lead a major redevelopment project in the canton of Zug, delivering new purpose-built premises for the Zug public transport authority (ZVB), the Zug emergency services (RDZ) and parts of the cantonal administration. With a total investment of CHF 242 million (€260 million), the programme will modernise a strategically important site and provide upgraded infrastructure for essential public services in one of Switzerland’s fastest-growing regions.

The existing location, which already accommodates ZVB and RDZ operations, will be completely transformed to meet the expanding needs of the canton. ZVB will move into a new office building featuring a large underground parking facility for its bus fleet, enabling more efficient day-to-day operations. A second new structure will become the headquarters for RDZ, supporting ambulance and emergency teams with high-performance facilities designed around rapid response and patient care. This building will also include around 250 workstations for the Zug cantonal authorities, consolidating administrative functions in a modern, functional workplace.

Together, the new buildings will offer 26,000 m² of total floor space. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026, with final handover planned for 2030. The entire development will comply with the stringent Minergie-P-ECO standard, which certifies excellence in thermal efficiency and the use of environmentally responsible materials.

Demonstrating Bouygues Construction’s expertise in integrated mixed-use and logistics-heavy developments

Bouygues Construction brings to this project extensive experience in designing, upgrading and transforming complex mixed-use assets that combine operational functions with broader urban development goals. Its reference projects include Hybrid in northern Paris, where the electrification of the Belliard bus depot paved the way for a mixed-use real estate scheme above the existing structure, as well as Sky Center in Gennevilliers, in which an unused office building is being repurposed into an urban business park serving SMEs and artisans.

Losinger Marazzi is already active in Zug with another regional development: the conversion of an industrial site into a mixed-use neighbourhood providing new residential, retail and office space. Delivery of that project is progressing in stages, with the first building due in 2026 and the second in 2027.
