The scholarships will be available in 13 countries, offering participants the chance to develop valuable skills in fields such as marketing, communication, soft skills, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability, data science, cybersecurity, and more. Applications will remain open until March 19, 2025, via the Santander Open Academy website.

The initiative is part of Santander’s broader mission to support professional development through Santander Open Academy, the bank’s global platform that offers courses, scholarships, and free content from prestigious institutions. The program is open to all, regardless of whether applicants are Santander customers or hold a university degree. As part of this partnership, beneficiaries will have access to certifications from leading tech companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Google, and AWS. More than 5,000 of the available courses are offered in 24 widely spoken languages, including Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, and Polish, ensuring the program is accessible to a diverse, global audience. Upon completion, participants will earn official certificates, which will bolster their career opportunities.
